Gillian Tolliday is a well-established professional musician and can provide refined solo classical violin music for your wedding ceremony and drinks reception. This can be acoustic or enhanced by a small amplifier. This music will be played from a sheet music folder with a music stand.
As a strolling violinist Gillian can entertain your guests at their tables and play their special requests including fast Irish fiddle tunes, jazz favourites, gypsy, Latin tangos and popular classics. As a Nautical Fiddler she can play a vast repertoire of English hornpipes, folk tunes and sea shanties. All this music is played acoustically and from memory.Guests will find themselves humming and tapping along. Gillian offers a personalised service and extensive choice of music.
Gillian has played solo violin at many prestigious venues including Salisbury Medieval Hall for weddings. She has frequented Hotels and restaurants in the New Forest for Valentine Dinners and Winchester Royal Hotel for Christmas Dinners. She has played for Drinks Receptions and Naval Dinners at HMS Collingwoood, HMS Excellent, HMS Nelson and HMS Warrior.
